We exist to support and grow the indie audio sector in Scotland.

We also plan to launch a podcast feed to share and promote the work of SAN members – watch this space, or join the Google Group or Whatsapp, to be among the first to receive more info

DIARY NOTE: 

We're hosting an in-person networking social for "audio people" ** on Tuesday 1st April, in the evening.

It's in central Edinburgh, about a 10-minute walk from Waverley station, at the Outhouse Bar.

It's the first in-person meet-up we've done in 2025, so I'm quite excited about it - it will be great to see folk!

(Please note re. accessibility: the room we've booked is up some stairs. Apologies if this affects you, we'll do better next time.)

We do some kind of event monthly - sometimes an online catch-up, or a virtual Q&A with someone senior, successful or talented in the industry.

Then, about every 3 months, we're planning to do this kind of in-person social. The next one after this will probably be in Glasgow.

** "Audio people" means literally anyone who works in sound, from podcast producers and sound engineers, to composers, radio journalists, whatever. You can be someone who lives their living from this stuff, or it can be a hobby / aspiration.
