Help to enter the Scottish Podcast Awards
The first Scottish Podcast Awards are open for applications. We're offering help if you can't afford to enter.
It's high time Scottish audio and podcasting had its own awards celebration.
A huge well done to Sixty Steps Productions - the team who are driving it forward.
However, plenty of podcasting is done on a shoestring - by people whose creativity and passion for their project isn't matched by access to ready cash.
For many, the fee for awards can be a huge barrier to entry.
We want every creator who wants to take part in the Scottish Podcast Awards to get their chance for recognition and success - so we've agreed with the organisers that we'll pay the entry fees for people who need help.
The Bespoken Media Scotland fund is open to any individual podcaster.
You just have to apply via the Scottish Podcast Awards website.
We've had to cap the number of entries available - so please get in soon, before we run out of places.
